Arequipa is the Second most important city in Peru, located on the southern coast, the capital city is at 2200 m above sea level and has numerous places to visit and enjoy.

The city of Arequipa , also called the White City, lies on the lower part of the Misti volcano, most of the houses are built usong a white volcanic rock called “sillar” making Arequipa the White City. The numerous attacions include the main square and the cathedral, the many churches from the spanish time includes the Santa Catalina church wich includes the monatery, aprt of wich is open as a museum.

Collca valley and canyon :

Colca canyon The Colca Valley and Canyon are one of the major atractions in the Arequipa region, the lowlands are surrounded by small towns with teir own personalities, bieng the most representative Chivay. The canyon is a marvel carved on the rocks where the condor, one of the biggest flying birds, flies. The water falls and turbulent river that goes along is used for practicing adventure sports.
