Sacred Valley:
Also named “Urubamba River Valley” has recently become an important destination for those in search of nature, adventure and relax. Pisac, Calca, Yucay , Urumanba, Ollantaytambo are lively towns in the upper Urubamba valley, the “valle sagrado” of the Incas (about 3000 m a.s.l.), where you will see extraordinary testimonies of the Inca architecture. You may visit them, and nearby towns, like Chinchero, within a group or individually, in a one day tour from Cusco, or stay at one of the typical hotels or lodges in one of the towns or in the countryside.
At this valley the visitors can practice: trekking, kayaking, canoeing or mountain biking.

Choquequirao:
Choquequirao is an extraordinary Inca fortress, similar to and bigger than Machu Picchu, reachable for visitors since few years. The only way to come there is by walking 3 days from Cachorras, at the road Cusco – AbancayMaras and Moray :
Moray and Maras are interesting places, outside the usual tourist routes, about one hour by car from Cusco: At Moray there are circular terraces, with different micro climates on the different levels, it is believed to be an agricultural research center at Inca times. At Maras there is a natural saline where in colorful basins salt is wone.
