We will appreciate the outstanding architectural style of Arequipa, the result of Spanish Colonial and the original Andean culture. The houses, churches and convents were built using “sillar” (white volcanic rock), hence the name "White City".

 

Day 01 : Lima / Arequipa

• Reception and transfer to Hotel.

14:30 City Tour, “Recoleta” Convent, its beautiful Franciscan colonial architecture, Amazon Museum and the impressive library.
• Accommodation at “La Casa de la Abuela” (BB).

Day 02 : Santa Catalina Monastery / Countryside And Mill Of Sabandia

9:00-11:00 We will visit the convent of Santa Catalina, built in the sixteenth century and opened to the public in 1970, where there are still cloistered nuns. .

14:30 Visit (03 hours) of Paucarpata typical district and its pre-Inca terraces and typical countryside, the famous Sabandía Windmill and Founder's Mansion, a colonial museum kind house of the founders of Arequipa.

Day 01 : Arequipa

• Reception and transfer to Hotel.

City Tour / Santa Catalina Monastery
Grau Bridge, Bolognesi Avenue (boulevard), Church and viewpoint of Yanahuara Colonial District, from where we can see most of the city, Carmen Alto district and viewpoint of the countryside with the Chilina Valley in the background, beautiful sight of the Misti, Chachani and-Pichu Pichu volcanoes, typical Pre-Inca platforms still cultivated, view of Chilina Valley along the River Chili, return to the city, visit to the Cathedral, “Plaza de Armas”, colonial zone, Cloister and Church of the Jesus Company and his polychrome dome and citadel of the famous monastery of Santa Catalina of cloistered nuns, built in the sixteenth century and opened to the public in 1970 after 400 years.

Day 02 : Colca Valley ( 2 days / 1 night )

• Departure , early in the morning, visiting on the way Cañahuas Pampas, the viewpoint of the Andes, and the Chucura Chivay viewpoint.
• Arriving to Chivay at 13:00 hours.
• In the afternoon we will visit the Thermal Baths of “La Calera”.
• Accommodation at Colca Inn Hotel (BB).

 

Day 03 : Cruz Del Condor

• Leaving early in the morning to the “Cruz del Condor” viewpoint, from where you can observe the depths of the canyon and the majestic flight of the Condor; we continue visiting typical villages, pre-Inca pendant tombs and beautiful costumes at each locality.

• Return to Arequipa.

• Accommodation at “La Casa de la Abuela”
