Day 01 : City Tour

Reception and transfer to the PORTAL DEL MARQUEZ Hotel. Rest of the morning, free for acclimatization.

Excursion to the City: The Cathedral, which is characterized by its impressive facade made of carved volcanic rock; the main square, San Francisco, Monumental Complex of Belen and the Colonial Hospital. The visit also includes the Ransom Room that was filled twice with silver and once with gold by the Inca Atahualpa as a payment for his liberty that never happened; we will go up the stairs of the Santa Apolonia Hill to “the chair of the Inca”, were we have a splendid viewpoint over the city and the valley.

Day 02 : Cumbemayo - "La Collpa" Farm - Inca's Bath

Cumbemayo Sightseeing Tour:
The tour includes: Bellavista (Viewpoint of Cajamarca), Layzón, a forest park, and a visit to the Cumbemayo Archaeological Centre, where we find the famous rock forest, petro- glyphs, the slaughter stone of the sanctuary and an aqueduct which is one of the most important works of hydraulic engineering in pre-Columbian Americas.

Collpa Sightseeing Tour:
We will visit the Collpa farm, the Llacanora district and its charming waterfalls, the caves of Callacpuma (Rock Art) and the well known “Baños del Inca” (Baths of the Inca).
Return to the Hotel.

Day 03 : Otuzco

Otuzco Sightseeing Tour:
We will appreciate the beauty of the Cajamarca Valley and visit the necropolis of Otuzco, the hanging bridge and then go to the Three Mills farm, the giant hydrangea garden and the country estate “Los Alpes” where we will eat dairy products and have the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful horse riding.

Day 02 : Porcon

Porcon Sightseeing Tour:
We will visit the Huambocancha carved stone handicraft center, and then go to the “Porcon” Farm (Atahualpa Jerusalem Cooperative) which has the largest forest park of Peru (900 has reforested land), observe the activities of the farmers such as the raising of cattle (where the cows are called by name), sheeps, alpacas, vicunas, guinea pigs, rabbits, as well as a trout hatchery and so on. Visit to a mini zoo.
Return to the Hotel.
