LAM 01 : Traditional Lambayeque ( 03 DAYS / 02 NIGHTS )
Day 01 :
09:00 - 09:45 hrs: Transfer to the archaeological Complex of Huaca Rajada-Sipan, located on the Southeast of the Department of Lambayeque.
09:45 - 11:30 hrs: Our tour starts with a visit to the Royal burial ground where untouched tombs of the Mochica Culture are located; the Tomb of the Lord of Sipan discovered on June 1987, the Tomb of a Priest discovered in 1988, and the Tomb of the Old Lord of Sipan discovered in 1989. Then we will visit the tomb of a chief warrior discovered in August 1996, and the Tombs of the second Chief Warrior discovered in 1998. All of these tombs belong to the Mochica Nobility. We will also visit the Site Museum and finally walk around the two pyramids made of “adobe” (mud brick), wild cane and carob wood. Here we can appreciate the beautiful landscape of the fertile Chancay Valley with its sugar cane plantations.
11:45 - 12:10 hrs: Return to the city of Chiclayo.
LUNCH at the famous FIESTA RESTAURANT.
16:00 -18:30 hrs: Visit to the national museum “Royal Tombs of Sipan” located in the nearby city of Lambayeque. This museum holds the remains of the Lord of Sipan and all archeological objects recovered from the Huaca Rajada tombs.
Day 02 :
09:00- 10:30 hrs: Visit to the Archaeological Sican Museum located at Ferreñafe City. Its main function is to study the Sican culture and other cultural manifestations of the region.
10:45 - 13:00 hrs: Excursion to the Archaeological Complex of Tucume that is the second capital of the Lord of Sican or of the Lambayeque Culture (100 AD), built with 26 colossal truncated pyramids, having an extension of 220 hectares. Walk to the Site Museum where visitors will enjoy seeing original archaeological rests that belonged to the Lambayeque, Chimu and Inca Cultures.
Return to Chiclayo, rest of the day free.
Day 03 :
09:00 - 13:00 hrs: Visit to the Pimentel Resort to watch local fishing labor using the millenary “Caballitos de Totora” (reef boats) and walk around the residential zone of this port. A few kilometers ahead is located Santa Rosa, a fishing port. Our ride continues towards the typical city of Monsefu, famous for its handicraft: weavings made of fine cotton thread and straw such as straw hats, alforjas to carry out vegetables, weavings, and a great variety of embroidery. Return trip to Chiclayo.
Transfer to the airport at the scheduled time.

LAM 02 : Enigmatic Lambayeque ( 04 DAYS / 03 NIGHTS )
Day 01 :
09:45 - 11:30 hrs: Our tour starts with a visit to the Royal burial ground where untouched tombs of the Mochica Culture are located: the tomb of “The Lord of Sipan” discovered on June 1987; the tomb of a Mochica priest discovered in 1988; and the tomb of “The Old Lord of Sipan” discovered in 1989. Visit to the tomb of a “Chief Warrior” discovered on August 1996 and the tomb of a second “Chief Warrior” discovered in 1998. These archeological remains belong to “The Lords of the Mochica nobility. Then we will visit the Site Museum and walk around the two pyramids made of adobe (mud brick) wild cane and carob wood. 11:45 - 12:10 Hrs: Return trip to the city of Chiclayo.
LUNCH in the famous FIESTA RESTAURANT.
16:00 -18:30 hrs: Visit to the National Museum Royal Tombs of Sipan located in the city of Lambayeque. Return to Chiclayo.
Day 02 :
09:00 - 09:25 hrs: Transfer to Ferreñafe. Whole day visit to the Sican Culture.
09:30 - 11:30 hrs: Visit to the National Museum of Sican, located in the City of Ferreñafe, about 25 minutes drive from Chiclayo. At this place are displayed the remains of two tombs of the Sican leaders (Lambayeque Region). They were the top exponents of goldsmith handicraft art in the northern part of Peru.
11:45 – 18:00 hrs: We continue our trip towards the Historical Sanctuary of Batangrande where the flora and fauna of the dry woods of the region can be appreciated aside from pyramidal constructions of the Sican Culture consisting of the burial sites “El Loro” (the parrot), “La Rodillona”, “El Ingeniero” and, "La Ventana" where in this last mentioned “huaca” in 1936 was discovered the famous Ceremonial Knife made of gold called “Golden Tumi.
Then we arrive in Tucume with its mud constructions where we can drink “chicha” (kind of korn beer) and observe people working in the corn fields and walking between great carob trees that grow near to the pyramids. Tucume is also know for its “witchery-sessions-cures”. Next, we will reach the lodge “Los Horcones of Tucume” to enjoy a tasteful typical dish and continue with a ride to the archaeological Complex of Tucume, the second important city of the “Lord of Sican” of the Lambayeque Culture (1000 AD) built with 26 colossal truncated pyramids on an extension of 220 hectares. Visit to the Site Museum where original archeological remains are displayed that belonged to the Lambayeque, Chimu and Inca Cultures.
18:10 Hrs: Return to the lodge “Los Horcones”, relax and dinner. If possible at night with full moon, a short walk around the pyramids to enjoy the night mystery. At midnight visitors will experience by a “chaman” a mystic witchery session called “Mesada”. Overnight in “Los Horcones”.
Day 03 :
09:00 -11:30 hrs: City tour of Chiclayo, capital of the Department of Lambayeque considered the tourist center of northern Peru and the main gate to the north-oriental zone of the country, where the enigmatic Kuelap Fortress is located. Next there will be a visit to the singular herbalist market, where medicinal plants and home remedies are sold.

Day 04 :
09:00 – 11:30 hrs: Journey to the old colonial city named “Santiago de Miraflores” located in Saña less than one hour by car from Chiclayo, founded by the Spaniard conquers in 1563, and inhabited only by Spaniards. The city displays a beautiful colonial architecture including remains of churches such as: San AgustĂn, La Merced, La Matriz and San Francisco. There still exists a rich oral tradition in Lambayeque.
11:35 – 12:15 hrs: Transfer to Monsefu
12:20 – 14:00 hrs: Visit to Monsefu, a well known city because of its handicraft and weavings made of fine cotton threads and straw. We continue our trip to the fishing ports of Santa Rosa and Pimentel beaches where we can admire how people fish using reef boats.
14:05 – 14:20 hrs: Back to Chiclayo.
16:10 hrs: Transfer to your hotel and to the airport at the scheduled time.
