Day 01 : Monkey Island

We will arrive in Puerto Maldonado, Peru’s capital of biodiversity. Following pickup at the airport our trip begins with a tour of the city by private bus.

We continue to Capitania, a small river port, where we board a motorized boat to cross the Madre de Dios River. As the trip progresses, we become immersed in the natural surroundings of the jungle while observing the ronsoco, caimans, turtles, herons, cormorants and other animal species.

We arrive at the Ecoamazonia Lodge and enjoy an exquisite welcome drink. Then, we settle into our bungalows and have lunch.

In the afternoon, accompanied by our specialized guide, we visit MONKEY ISLAND, a unique place at the heart of the Madre de Dios River – just 5 minutes from the lodge. Along the way, we can observe the extraordinary landscapes and exuberant flora that are the home of a variety of monkey species. These monkey species include maquisapas, capuchins, lion monkeys, puffins, cotos and other animal species like the coati, sloth, and a great diversity of birds. We complete our visit of the island enjoying the sunset – the most impressive moment of any day in the jungle. We end the day with a pleasant dinner.

Day 02 : Lost Cocha

After breakfast we begin an adventure through the virgin forest, accompanied by our local guide as we explore deep into the jungle and reach the Lost Cocha (“Cocha Perdida”). The Lost Cocha is a refuge and feeding ecosystem for a incredible diversity of animals. There we have the opportunity to observe otters, caimans, turtles, sachavacas, birds of every color, the majestic jaguar and a variety of fishes. This unique area belongs to the Ecoamazonia Reserve and remains absolutely intact with large marshes and natural springs. We ascend to an extraordinary vantage point, from which we have a chance to observe the magical jungle, followed by a pleasant canoe ride around the lake. We return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, we offer an optional visit to the botanical gardens, or if you would rather like relax, you can enjoy the Amazonian Pool and dinner.

Day 03 :

Breakfast and transfer to the airport.

What Mother Jungle Hides.. Ayahuasca

Day 01 : Puerto Maldonado – Ecoamazonia Lodge

Pick up from the airport and brief tour of the city and central market. Afterward, we go to the port, board our motorized boat, and cross the Madre de Dios River to the Ecoamazonia Lodge. After an exquisite welcome drink, we help you settle into your traditional bungalows. In the afternoon, we visit Monkey Island.

 

Day 02 : Ayahuasca Session

After breakfast, we take a relaxing jungle walk near the lodge.

After lunch, we take part in an orientation session with the Ayahuasca Master (Shaman). He will tell us how to make the Ayahuasca experience as effective as possible.

At 8:00 p.m. (without dinner), a meditation session will commence, and our Shaman Master will guide us through the spiritual purification, cleansing and healing work that will last through midnight.

Day 03 : Natural Bath

We begin the day with breakfast, rest and meditation. After lunch we make an afternoon visit to the river gorge in order to enjoy a natural bath in the Amazon rainforest’s crystal clear waters. Return to the lodge.

Day 04 :

Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
