PUN 01 : Basic Puno ( 03 DAYS / 02 NIGHTS )

Puno - PeruThe approximately 20 floating islands of the Uros are located in the Puno Bay of the Titicaca lake. Each is inhabited by about 3 to 10 uro-aymara families who build their homes with mats of reeds.


Day 01 : INCOME TRANSFER

Day 02 : UROS / SILLUSTANI

• A.M. UROS TOUR (Floating Islands of Uros) 03 hours excursion, which can be done in the morning or afternoon, includes a visit to three floating islands. Optionally you may travel from island to island on board of typical reed rafts constructed by the local people.

• P.M. SILLUSTANI TOUR (Archeological Complex)
03 hour excursion, which will allow us to appreciate the magnificent Inca architecture, the Sillustani Burial Towers (Necropolis), sacred place where the passage from death to life happens, surrounded by stunning nature and wildlife.

PUN 02 : Charming Puno ( 04 DAYS / 03 NIGHTS )


The Taquile island in Titicaca lake is 3 hrs, by boat, from port of Puno. Its size is approximately 6 km2. The vestiges of the island date from pre-Inca times and can be seen on the top of the island.

Taquileños run their society based on community collectivism and on the Inca moral code "ama sua, ama llulla, ama qhella" (do not steal, do not lie, do not be lazy). The economy is based on fishing, terraced farming horticulture based on potato cultivation, and the approximately 40,000 tourists who visit each year. Taquileños are known for their fine handwoven textiles and clothing, which are regarded as among the highest-quality handicrafts in Peru. The work of spinning and weaving is primarily done by the men. Taquile people use solar panels for illumination.


Day 01 : Transfer Juliaca Airport / Sillustani / Htl

If the flight is arriving to Juliaca airport before 15:30 we can see, on the way to Puno, the magnificent architecture of the Inca Chullpas of Sillustani (Necropolis), sacred place where the passage from death to life happens, surrounded by stunning nature and wildlife.

Day 02 / 03 : Uros / Amantani / Taquile Traditional Boat (2 DAYS)

The two-day tour begins at 08:00, culminating at 17:00 hours on the next day, with overnight on the island of Amantani, where you can learn local ethnology, visiting millenary temples of Pacha Tata and Pacha Mama, sacred temples in the Andean region and local museums. your guide will help you to contact with local families and participate in their daily activities. So far all the tourists who visit and stay overnight on the island do so in the houses of local people and take the same as they do. There are no hotels or restaurants.

The second day we will visit the island of Taquile and then return to Puno.

TRANSFER FROM PUNO TO JULIACA FOR RETURN
